Celtic’s are heading into a run of games that will ultimately shape their season.

The Hoops have some tough ties ahead and will be without some of their most influential players for that period. The club has had zero luck with injuries this season and continues to see players go down with nasty bumps.

Here are Celtic’s next five games, four SPFL ties and a Scottish Cup game.

Hearts

Tynecastle under the lights is always a cauldron. We expect a feisty night in the capital as Celtic take on the Jambos. No Maeda, Rogic, Kyogo or Callum McGregor by the looks of things – adding to that David Turnbull is still out and we’re not at our strongest.

Ange will have to call on his full squad to get them through this game.

Dundee Utd

Back in September, The Arabs managed a draw at Celtic Park. That day we had Albian Ajeti upfront and were again short of numbers. Nothing has changed in that regard but we are a bit stronger now. It’ll be interesting to see if Celtic can find a way to win against Utd’s rearguard. We did beat them 3-0 at their own ground not long ago.

The Rangers

Celtic haven’t won a tie against this club since 2019 when we won the cup final. Since then, pandemic football kicked in and our rival’s really thrived in the training ground environment. They snuck away with a win at Ibrox earlier in the season, despite Celtic not being at their best and at the very start of a rebuild. Can Ange get his first derby win?

Mothwerwell

We know what we’re going to get with Motherwell. Robust and sometimes bad challenges stop us from getting into a flow. We’ve beaten Graham Alexander’s side this season and will need to make sure this isn’t a game where we slip on a banana skin.

Aberdeen

Aberdeen at Pittodrie! Jota scored a late winner last time around and we know the Dons will be motivated. They’ve managed two draws against our title rival’s this season and will fancy their chances against Celtic.
