Celtic get to take one last deep breath before the final run-in for this season as the international week kicks in.

There are nine games to go in the SPFL and the Hoops are nine points clear with a superior goal difference. There are 27 points to play for with two Glasgow Derbies still on the horizon.

Our next three games will give us an inkling as to what we can expect post-split.

After the international break Celtic play Ross County away, The Rangers at home and Kilmarnock away. For reasons unbeknownst to us, we know when Celtic are closing in on the SPFL title, we see opposition teams with no chance of winning it try to up their game to stop the Hoops.

Ross County away under Mark McKay will be a stern test for our creative players who who’ll have to find a way past a well drilled Ross County side who do the defensive side of the game pretty well on their own patch.

The Rangers game at Celtic Park could really be the game that puts The Bhoys within touching distance of the title if we can bag three points in Dingwall then dispatch our Glasgow rivals. Easier said than done, but we have the advantage of a full home support with no away fans in the ground.

Kilmarnock away will be your typical match against hammer throwers on less than ideal surface. However, Celtic have shown their mettle in these games and will be looking to pile more misery on Derek McInnes.

It’s an exciting part of the season for Celtic fans. The post-split fixtures will come out next month and we have a Glasgow Derby Cup Semi-Final to look forward to at the end of April.

So enjoy the international break, because the fun is about to begin.
