Celtic could yet have a chance at redemption this season with the news breaking this afternoon lower league clubs are getting set to resume training.
Leagues below the Championship set to get the go-ahead to start training imminently. Lower leagues have been suspended since early January.

The Scottish cup has been put on ice since the start of the year because of the lower leagues being shutdown by the Scottish government.
This shutdown is still in place today, but with clubs about to begin their training again ahead of a restart, it now seems possible the Scottish Cup could be played to a finish in a shorter amount of time.
If that’s the case, Celtic would have the chance to defend their trophy for the fifth consecutive season and bring some silverware to the club.
It won’t be easy given our form as been poor on the whole. If the SFA green light the competition it should be an absolute priority for Celtic to make the most of it.
