Ange Postecoglou will take his Celtic team to Japan this summer for a pre season tour.

The Bhoys are due to play two friendlies in the land of the rising sun, one of which has already been confirmed.

Speculation has been widespread surrounding the other but it is now being claimed in a report that the Hoops will play J. League side Gamba Osaka on the 22nd of July, three days after they take on Yokohama F. Marinos.

Celtic fans will recognise Gamba Osaka as the team they signed Yosuke Ideguchi from last January and the club will provide yet another stern pre season test.

Before that, however, the champions have a lot to keep them occupied.

Sunday is trophy day before the Scottish Cup final is played out next month at Hampden.

In this one, a win is vital if Celtic want to head to Japan as a treble winning side.
