Last week, some of Celtic’s pre season plans were thrown up in the air.

This is down to Wolves, who were supposed to be playing the Bhoys in a friendly in South Korea this month, being forced to pull out of their tour.

Roma then followed suit which left Brendan Rodgers’ men with no real option for a match whilst they were in South Korea.

Nevertheless, it now appears a suitable opponent has been found to fill the gap.

Tournament organisers Stadium X have put forward Incheon United, who were previously supposed to be playing Roma in South Korea, as new challengers to take on the Scottish champions (The Scottish Sun).

The side currently sit ninth in the K. League table therefore they won’t be the highest standard of opponent and not near the level of Wolves but they will still provide a challenge.

Previously, the game against Wolves was meant to be played on Wednesday July 26th thus a clash with Incheon would likely take place on the same date.
