As Glasgow moves to level 2, we’re hopefully gearing up for the returns of fans next season – even in small numbers.

We’ve already watched these EPL allow fans into grounds for the final games of their season and having a small crowd helps the atmosphere massively.

Celtic have been relentlessly trying to get supporters back for some time now and they believe it’s something they can do for the beginning of next season.

The club believe the uptake in season tickets will be greater if they can outline plans for a way back into the stadium for supporters.

One thing we’ve been told is the standing section will not be in use when the stadium is opened at first.

The section that houses the green brigade will be counted as seating with the chairs pulled down. This allows Celtic to get more fans in at first. We’d imagine if someone has a season ticket for the section, they’ll still be admitted to the same place roughly but the seats will be lowered.

Celtic start their campaign in July with some friendlies and a vital Champions League tie. Maybe we’ll have a manager by then.
