NEIL LENNON has given his injured Celtic stars every chance to be fit enough for the Glasgow Derby next week after he organised a bounce game with Morton to provide some of them a run out ahead of the game.

The fans have been anxiously waiting on news about Tom Rogic, Olivier Ntcham and Filip Benkovic with all three struggling with injuries since the start of the year.

The bounce game was set up to give some of these players a runout. Jozo has also been struggling with a knock and started the match which was good to see. The players who weren’t at international duty were called upon for the game. Ntcham for 45 minutes under his belt, French Eddy played around 60 minutes before being subbed and Karamoko Dembele along with his fellow youth star Armstrong Oko-Flex also started the match. Filip Benkovic played too.

The one bad bit of news is Celtic didn’t believe Tom Rogic was fit enough yet to participate in the match which is a worry with the game just eight days away at this point.

Neil Lennon gets another close look at Dembele and if Celtic wrap up the title, he and Oko-Flex might find themselves in the matchday squad for real.
