CELTIC have finally got some good news with regards to Champions League qualifiers next season with the club most likely to be seeded for ALL their qualifiers.
While it’s not completely guaranteed yet the club are set to avoid some of the harder games that being unseeded would have caused.
The fear was Celtic would be thrown in at the deep end with some high profile games so early in their campaign.
It’s a minefield of information but @Moravcik67 on social media has broken it down for Celtic fans who want to know the ins and outs of the qualification process.
2. A recap of the main changes for 18/19.
– 1 extra qualifying round
– 1 less qualifying spot in the Champions route
– 2 more nations now have to qualify
– Clubs no longer get 20% of the national coefficient
So more and better teams playing more games for fewer group places.

This is good news but it’s still four qualifiers that Celtic need to play – eight midweek games in a row at the start of the season to get to the group stage.
It’s going to be a tough slog for the Celtic players.
