It wasn’t a good day at Ibrox when it came to fan behaviour.

There was missiles and bottles thrown on to the pitch, a Celtic staff member was hit and had to receive stitches and there were very tasteless banners attempting to point score over child abuse.

You might not have known about the latter because Sky Sports nor the media have any real appetite to tackle the sort of abhorrent nature of the way some Gers fans go about their business.

Another incident was brought to light after Celtic released their brilliant unique angle footage. This is the footage recorded at pitch level and shows Celtic’s two goals at Ibrox to win the game.

After Celtic’s second, the camera follows the players as they celebrate. In the background, we see an unhinged Gers fan attempting to jump the barrier to enter the field of play. There wasn’t a steward in sight and in the end, another fan had to stop the idiot from attempting to get at the Celtic players.

It’s nearly 24 hours after the game where a Celtic staff member has been injured at their stadium and we’ve had nothing from the Ibrox club – absolutely nothing. The behaviour of some of their supporters at the game was downright despicable. It needs to be addressed.
