CELTIC were firing on all cylinders before the international break.

The outstanding performance and result against St Johnstone was a real cathartic experience for the players and the fans.

Having seen Celtic waste so many opportunities in other games, to see them be utterly dominant and ridiculously ruthless was very pleasing to see.

The big test now for the bhoys is to carry that momentum forward.

The international break could not have come at a worse time for the club. Just like Septembers international break, Celtic won the Glasgow Derby only for the break to extinguish any momentum we had.

It’s imperative that the bhoys keep the St Johnstone game in mind as Hibernian come to Celtic Park on Saturday.

The display against the Perth side was phenomenal and to show the bhoys are really back they must now try and inflict the same kind of pain on Neil Lennon’s side.

Just watch these goals, everyone one of them is fantastic. Forrest’s four along with Edouard’s calm one touch shot goal and a well-worked sixth – it was a creatively inspiring day at the office for Celtic.

Neil Lennon will be wary of that Celtic team turning up.

  1. What the video dose not show are the number of top saves the St. Johnston keeper made
earlier which kept Celtic out and I for one thought that it was going to be one of those days
but they stuck at it which made it all the more impressive.
