Celtic have teased their eagerly awaited Christmas advert, which will drop this Thursday, November 21st. The annual festive feature has become a tradition for the club since its debut in 2015, blending seasonal cheer with appearances from Celtic stars past and present, while showcasing gifts available from the Celtic store.

Over the years, the Christmas advert has delivered some truly memorable moments. Brendan Rodgers moonlighting as a bus driver and Scott Brown donning the role of an airline pilot are just a couple of highlights that have stuck with fans. There have also been touching appearances from legends such as Bertie Auld, whose presence in previous adverts remains a cherished memory for the Celtic support.

The yearly production allows players to show their lighter side, stepping away from the rigours of football to bring some festive joy. Fans are always excited to see who will feature and how the club will top the previous efforts.

This year, the involvement of Scottish actor and Celtic fan Tony Roper has already sparked excitement. Roper, known for his iconic roles in Rab C. Nesbitt and The Steamie, was spotted wearing Celtic-themed pyjamas during filming at a recent home game, providing a sneak peek at what’s to come.

With such a rich history of creative and heartwarming productions, expectations are high for 2024’s effort to live up to the legacy. The countdown is on, and fans won’t have long to wait to see what Celtic’s festive team has in store this time around.
