CELTIC TV has moved to insure current subscribers will not be affected by the new virtual season ticket plan about to be rolled out to season ticket holders.

The club have announced it will be an entirely separate platform when the streams go live in August and it won’t affect current Celtic TV subscribers.

Right now, Celtic stream live home games to subscribers outside the UK and Ireland and that will continue to be the case.

The new setup will most likely see season ticket holders signing in with their client code and setting up an account so they don’t miss the action.

It will be a massive undertaking for the club and something they have to get right straight away. If there are substantial teething problems going into the season with the quality of the service it could be a stressful experience.

Hopefully they’ve learned lessons from streaming to outside the UK. Many of our readers have contacted us in the past about the sub-par service. Hopefully, with all eyes on the product, there will be a concerted effort to deliver the best possible experience.

  1. I think this virtual season ticket holder thing is a good thing until we can get back to games proper better than getting just yer average lot on sky at least I’ll be able tae watch all the home games that are on it I think it’s a win win although I know ill also get backlash from die hards that go to the games week in week out for all these years but what would they rather a total blackout unless we’ve got celtic tv I suppose what is going to be best value and how many people embrace it hail hail Mon the celts here we go 10 in a row
