Tonight’s game cannot be underestimated. We have to come out of the blocks all guns blazing if we are to have any chance.

While there is a need to go forward, we must ensure that we are not sucker punched in the process. I have chosen a 4-2-3-1 line-up in order to achieve this.

I’ve stuck Leigh Griffiths up front from the start as the bhoy does have an eye for goal. Admittedly he doesn’t play his best football when he starts up front himself but he’d have Commons, McGregor and Pukki to bounce off of in his search for goals.

Commons has played like a striker at time for Celtic and I think tonight he will have to take up this role again.

love him or hate him but Mulgrew has to go into the team under these circumstances. Kayal could also fill this role but I have no confidence in the player to be effective.

With Ambrose out – to the relief of many! I think Lustig should pair up with van Dijk at the back. The player has played there before and done an effective job. With Matthews available on the right we wont weaken our wing back position by moving the Swede to the centre of defence.

The goalkeeper picks itself.

Ultimately it is going to come down to how they attacking players go about their business. Commons has looked rusty and Griffiths has been playing out of position. It would be a great time for them both to blast off the cob webs.

I’m sceptical we can achieve the result we want tonight BUT I will always let my heart rule my head when it comes to Celtic and say we might just squeeze through this tie.

No doubt by tomorrow I will be greetin into my Cornflakes.

Do you agree with this team?
