Former Ibrox player Charlie Adam had a torrid time against Celtic playing for Dundee. The Hoops were comfortable winners in the end at 4-2 and even that score line flattered the home side.

Speaking to PLZ Soccer about the game, Charlie had to concede his side couldn’t lay a glove on Celtic and that more teams are going to struggle against Kyogo.

“They were good. Front three were excellent. They’re gonna cause teams all sorts of problems.

“And you know in that wide area they’ve got pace and they’ve got someone up front who’s movement is ridiculous.

“It doesn’t matter if he’s playing against someone who is six foot five, three feet two, it just doesn’t matter.

“His movement is just unbelievable and he’s a very, very good player.

“And he’s going to cause a lot problems but he’s playing for a big club they’re good players.

“We never really laid a glove on them.”

Celtic can be lethal. The front three of Kyogo, Jota and Abada can cause all sorts of problems.

It’s a team that still needs to gel properly and they’re growing in confidence week but week.

Ange Postecoglou had an impossible task in the summer to try and get Celtic back up and running after a disastrous campaign last year. The turnover of players and Ange coming from an entirely different league meant we could have struggled for much longer than we did. Going into the final stretch of games in December – Celtic are in good shape.

Charlie Adam knows all about that and being put on his backside by Anthony Ralston before the third goal will be something he wants to forget.
