CHRIS SUTTON has slammed the sectarian abuse Steve Clarke received at Ibrox last night and declared it a ‘huge issue’ in Scottish football.

The Kilmarnock boss was visibly upset as he described the sort of backwards, sectarian taunts he was subjected to while trying to do his job at Ibrox.

Clarke asked why is it ok to call him a Fenian b***** when if it was a person of colour being taunted that wouldn’t be ok.

He was disgusted, and so is Chris Sutton as we try and rid the game of this nonsense. Religion in football is a dying game but as the walls close in on this deplorable behaviour the people still desperate to cling to it are becoming louder and louder with the backdrop of Brexit Britain giving them carte blanch to say whatever they like without serious repercussions.

Sutton wants to see this kind of stuff dealt with and branded sectarianism in football as disgusting.

  2. Steve Clark isn’t the only manager or assistant to feel the bile from the homo supporters at the death star. Home or away they seem to be getting lost in their support of their team. So its ok to have Catholic players in the squad and a Catholic manager and captains in the auld co. Sevconians seem to think they no longer have any Catholics in their team. Yet they still shout and sing their bile en masse, at other teams players and manager’s who bless themselfs or not. Do they all know its 2019 not 1691. The fuc&ing troggs.
