CHRIS SUTTON has given the thumbs up to Celtic’s latest move in the transfer market and declared Celtic fans could be in for a treat.

The Englishman sent out the tweet after Celtic announced the deal had become official.

There was talk of an 18-month deal, but for right now it’s the initial six months with perhaps room to keep the striker an extra season should he impress and if PSG doesn’t want him for the first-team.

Having seen his Dad play, Sutton declared the signing ‘exciting’.

It seems like forever ago we first reported Timothy looked like one of Celtic’s main targets for the transfer window but there was a lot involved before the deal could be done.

The striker is now in Dubai and will likely take part in his first training session with the Celtic players tomorrow morning.

The bhoys are going through intense training ahead of the second part of the season, with Rodgers looking to fine-tune his squad to make sure of 8-in-a-row.

Welcome Timothy!
