CHRIS SUTTON believes the mood in the Celtic camp will be slowly turning after their two victories last week.
The club have got a whole week to prepare for the Scottish Cup Final against Hearts on Sunday. The two teams will fight it out for the final piece of silverware of last season and Celtic’s upturn in fortunes couldn’t have come at a better time.
An unexpected win against Lille followed by an efficient and top second half performance against Kilmarnock has settled some nerves but we’re not out of the woods yet.
A win on Sunday could prove the catalyst for more success down the road.
Speaking about the dressingroom atmosphere, Chris told the RecordSport Podcast, the dressing room will be a lot better place.
“I think the mood will, no doubt, feel a little bit better within the dressing room. I think that Neil Lennon will be feeling a tiny bit of relief with the performance against Lille and then backing it up, to some extent, against Kilmarnock.”
It’s not going to be an easy game, winning cup competitions consistently is hard to do.
If the bhoys can get the win on Sunday, more history will be made. All eyes are on Neil Lennon and who he’s going to trust to deliver the trophy.
