Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton was at the wind up again this evening as he jumped on the social media trend the Ibrox club started this week, sending videos out from former players asking them to behave while over in Seville.

It’s been quite an incredible thing to watch, rolling out Ibrox legends to beg the fans to behave. You just don’t see that many places in football and most clubs wouldn’t feel the need to do so.

Sadly, there is a track record attached to the support and as recent as last year we saw violence erupt on the streets of Glasgow after Rangers fans took over George square.

Chris Sutton poked fun at the whole thing by telling The Rangers fans not to be ‘naughty’ out there and behave themselves while wearing his Celtic jersey he wore in Seville when Celtic took on Porto in the UEFA Cup final.

Chris always does things in good fun but there’s a lot of the Ibrox support who spout venom at what’s clearly a bit of a laugh.

We hope they do behave during the week.
