CHRIS SUTTON didn’t give his usual post-match comments on the Celtic game with so much football being played on Wednesday night. However, the former Hoops striker made sure to acknowledge Reo Hatate’s outstanding goal to make it 3-0 to Celtic on the night.
Celtic fans were in awe of Reo’s quick feet when they were certain Liam Kelly was about to shutdown the Japanese midfielder just inches from goal.
That's a piece of MAGIC from Reo Hatate! 🤯

Chris branded the goal ‘marvellous’ on social media and rightly so.

Hatate has the potential to be a very special player. He’s still learning on the job as he continues his progress at Celtic. His range of passing, ability and coolness under pressure are all traits that could see him make waves in the game.

The goal against Motherwell was outstanding. Blocking the defender off with his strengthen then quickly outfoxing Liam Kelly to score.
The bhoys were in great form and made easy work of their quarter-final opponents. Kilmarnock are up next for Celtic in the League Cup, the tie won’t take place until January. The World Cup in November and December means the League Cup won’t be settled before the new year like previous times.
