Chris Sutton has reacted to Celtic’s very convincing win against Ferencvaros on Tuesday afternoon.
In a game where fans weren’t expected to turn up in their numbers – Celtic registered a 50k strong crowd for the game and the team delivered on the pitch.
The Hoops found it hard to break down a very defensive away side in the first half but in the second half they started to turn the screw. A wonderful pass from Jota was brilliantly controlled by Kyogo who slotted the ball into the back of the net to break the deadlock.
After that, Celtic went for it. There was a saved penalty, Cal Mac failing to find the net. David Turnbull would get the second after initially looking. Like he’d missed his chance.
Celtic could have scored two or three after that but it remained 2-0.
Chris Sutton was delighted and claimed Ange deserved that result.
Superb display from Celtic. Could have, should have been six. Some of the football was outstanding. Kyogo wonderful goal. Players off the bench making an impact. Ange Postecoglou deserved that. Tuesday afternoon football can’t become a thing though??

In Scotland we have little to fear time now for the bhoys to start believing in themselves and Ange and put our stamp on things WE are the team to fear on that display.
Hearts, DU and RIFC are all capable of similar performances against us. This is our task lads.
WHY was my original post removed?
I assume RIFC are Sevco!!
