CHRIS SUTTON has been reacting to the big news coming out of Celtic.

After seventeen years in the role, Peter Lawwell will end his official affiliation with the club and step down at the end of the season.

Celtic have already confirmed his role will be filled by Rugby Union chief, Dominic McKay who will step in from July onwards.

There’s big changes coming up at Celtic and Chris Sutton wonders if Neil Lennon will survive the transition.

The BT pundit also believes Peter Lawwell will be devastated the fact he and the club blew ten in row.

Celtic will begin a new era in the summer. A new manager is highly likely. A director of football type appointment could also be on the cards. The difficulty for the new regime will be to implement a new culture at the club while also attempting to wrestle back the league title.

  1. Spread his proxie bets, that sevco would be top at Xmas and go on to win one in a row. Gave them two wins from two of a start. So cheerio and thanks for all the fish. Bet he also bumped up his pension. You can’t win them all. Yes you could have, but settled for a mediocre spend. Ergo what we fans are left with.
