Chris Sutton has reacted to the news Celtic are set to sell one of their top youngsters in Jeremie Frimpong.
The news broke earlier today, the club had accepted a bid for the young right-back and he was abroad looking to finalise the deal.
Since then, it has emerged, Bayer Leverkusen is the club involved in the deal and a fee of £11.5m.
Chris Sutton believes that’s great business on the face of it.
£11.5 Frimpong to Leverkusen… that’s a lot based on this season’s performances…

Last season Jeremie burst onto the scene but this term he hasn’t been at his best. To get that sort of money for a young player is too good to turn down from a Celtic point of view.
If we can add a sell-on clause then it’s a terrific bit of business.
Manchester City will be due some of the cash for this deal, having let the defender move to Glasgow 18 months ago for a very small fee.
The fire sale has begun. When will the Celtic fans see the money bare fruit????
