CHRIS SUTTON seemed delighted on social media on Wednesday night as he watched his former club absolutely steamroll the Estonian Champions.

The bhoys ran out 5-0 winners on the night with two goals from Ryan Christie, one a piece from Kristoffer Ajer and Callum McGregor but the goal of the night came for a returning Leigh Griffiths.

The striker has been out of the game for some time due to mental health issues and hadn’t scored a competitive goal for the club in 2019. It was inevitable he would choose the most spectacular way to get back among the goals and Leigh had Celtic fans on their feet when he fired him a free kick.

Celtic Park erupted as their returning bhoy got on the scoresheet and Chris Sutton was delighted – branding Leigh’s goal as ‘stunning’ and welcoming the player back!

Celtic take a 5-0 lead to Estonia next week, with the tie as good as over, Neil Lennon may give some other players a chance ahead of the SPFL opener a week on Saturday.
