CHRIS SUTTON doesn’t miss an opportunity to take a dig at the SFA and their hapless officials and he’s done so again this morning on his social media feed.

The former Celtic striker shared a football clip showing very violent conduct as a player is kicked in the face as he tries to get by his opponent, it’s pretty brutal but Sutton joked it would probably only garner a yellow card in Scotland.

It might be tongue in cheek but after some of the decisions which have not been taken this season, it’s not outwith the realms of possibility.

Confidence in officials across the board are at an all time low and the SFA’s process for retrospective punishment is also pretty pathetic.

You only have to go back to the last Glasgow derby where Alfredo Morelos should have seen red and then should’ve definitely been subject to retrospective action but nothing was done. Some players have been given carte blanch to do as they please and it’s a dangerous game to play.
