CHRIS SUTTON has told the Celtic board they should be ashamed after allowing Celtic make another very premature exit from the Champions League.
Celtic went out on extra time to Midtjylland in Denmark but the team Ange Postecoglou had to put out on the night was the result of mismanagement from the very top at Celtic.
Celtic ended the game with a back line of Adam Montgomery, Stephen Welsh, Dane Murray and Anthony Ralston. We’re not going to have a go at any of these guys who did their best, but the fact they were called upon for such a vital European tie is absolutely shameful.
Celtic had nothing but time on their hands after they blew last season early on. They should have been building up a plan and a rebuild to bite back as soon as this season got underway – instead, we’re here again; the players, the manager and the fans have been sold short.
Sutton has no sympathy for the board.
No surprise Celtic going out. Ange Postecoglou has been dealt the worst hand of any Celtic manager in the last 20 years. The powers that be should be ashamed of dealing him this hand. Years of acting too slow and bringing in players too late but this season is something else.

Celtic need to get their act together quickly. We have a game on Saturday where we’ll be able to call on at least one new signing in Carl Starfelt. It’s too little too late for this years Champions League and if we have a slow start to the league season, who knows where we’ll be.
This board have been a disgrace in the way they have allowed this club to in a mess like never before they are like a a amateur organisation but ther bank balance have been filled by Celtic fans over years of paying for season books and merchandise get them out now
Totally agree .A fan in his lifetime probably contributes £40/50,000 .While one who also goes abroad with our team is in the £100,000+ bracket over a 50 year span .In return we are treated with utter contempt ?
Totally inept. A decent board would have emptied Lennon last Oct.

Months too late, Lennon was out and the board basically bowed to every demand of Eddie Howe who was unemployed so should have been told to start now or not at all.
We then are humiliated by Howe giving the board the knockback.
Get Big Ange in but still dither with transfers when any fan could have told them we needed 10-12 players.
Instead left with a team full of rookies and rubbish expecting to qualify
Same auld story, of sell before you will be allowed to spend anything of consequence, the board dragging their heels is nothing new. Long pockets short arms all over again. Desmond and Co aren’t really Celtic supporters. Their money men. I mean how much has Celtic made in transfers in the past 5 or 6 years?. A lot. Yet spending to help our club progress to the top level is and should be the priority. They should be ashamed of their lack off actions. The Celtic family have been let down again. The manager has been dealt a jokers hand . To little to late. I love our club and family but I for 1 wont be buying any tickets or merchandise just to line the penny pinching boards pockets. The board state their Celtic fans especially Mr Desmond yet with having a billionaire at the helm the same old story crops up. I mean Chelsea have a billionaire owner who believes his club are the best in Europe and the spending the man does has proved him right. I don’t believe Mr Desmond wants us to progress otherwise he would be out spending big to accumulate some successes. I’m not saying spend tens off millions on 1 player but spend. If Mr Desmond and Co cant back our gaffer who should hold his head high for his actions and interviews on BBC and Celtic TV . He put his hands up and said theres no 1 to blame but him. If our season is to get off to a flyer then more actions from the lacklustre so called board is needed now before the Celtic family boycott games in protest.
