We’re usually on Chris Sutton’s side with most things but we cal out any pundit who appears to be working on an agenda.

Chris didn’t find it hard to criticise Ronny Deila during his spell at the club but he finds it very difficult to put the blame on Neil Lennon for our poor run of form this season.

Live on air, the pundit took a swipe at an overweight Leigh Griffiths as a cause of the result. He then attacked Moi Elyounoussi for being on his phone, which is not professional in the slightest, but not a reason for the defeat.

“I am a huge, huge fan of Griffiths as a player.” He told BT Sport.

“I’m not a huge fan of his attitude

“He is a brilliant finisher but he is overweight, he is out of shape, and he can’t play for 60 minutes let alone 90 minutes.

“He’s a professional footballer, he’s not been picked for a reason.

“He’s not paid to come off the bench for a little cameo.

“He’s a brilliant player but he needs to get himself fit and he’s let his manager and his team-mates down with his attitude.

“Simple as that.”

On Elyounoussi, Sutton said: “There’s a player sitting in the stands tonight on his mobile phone.

“That is totally, TOTALLY, unacceptable.

“That’s scandalous. I mean, is he committed to the cause, is he committed to the club?

“Totally unacceptable.”

Leigh has had his personal problems but shouldn’t have come back to pre-season like he did but it wasn’t the reason for last nights defeat and don’t kid yourself on it is.

You can tell there’s a reluctance to blame his old team-mate and friend. However, we all know what Chris would be saying if this was a Ronny Deila team, he can deny that all he likes but that’s the reality.

His bias is not helping Celtic get to the bottom of things. Neil Lennon is culpable for that result as well as every single player out there.

With so much anger and disharmony among the support and players, we’re heading to a game on Sunday where if we drop points; it would feel like it was over.

There’s something not right this season and the buck stops with the manager, something Dutton said regularly under a Deila regime.

  1. Let me say something true, no quote ever atributed to Celtic during any great game, or run of games of the past. Can remove that lie down attitude against any opposition. At least they found one of their own nets once. What ever happened to the Celtic team, is beyond my thinking. A Fuc&ing earthquake by the fans, is coming soon. The tables have been turned, and the tables don’t lie.
