CHRIS SUTTON has delivered his verdict after watching Celtic blow a two goal lead in Spain.
The Hoops led Real Betis by two in the first half, only to be pegged back before half time.
In the second half, Celtic lost another two quickfire goals that ultimately ended any prospect of points in Seville.
Sutton admits it will be hard for the players to take because of the lead they had, but has seen a lot of positives, the biggest one being the emergence of Albian Ajeti.
Celtic are a great watch but still so naive defensively. The team will be kicking themselves. Every goal was so avoidable. Two up and letting it slip will be tough to take. Good to see Ajeti looking sharper and stronger.

The Swiss striker has scored three goals in the last two games for the Hoops – stepping up after the injury of Kyogo and the sale of Odsonne Edouard.
The striker will likely run the line against Livingston on Sunday and if he keeps playing well, he will give Ange Postecoglou food for thought.
Celtic will have to pick themselves up quickly as they get ready to head to Lothian this weekend. It will be up to Ange to make sure they’re ready and don’t lose ground in the SPFL.
It’s time to get real, pathetic defending, positional sense and tackling is abysmal. The game should have been won at 2-0,any other team would have shut shop and hit them on the break and probably scored another couple of goals, all this stick to our principles and game plan only works against weak Scottish opposition, we’ve played 3 half decent teams and failed to beat any of them.
