A day is a long time in Scottish football and today was no different.

We had Celtic losing in Edinburgh, Chris Sutton putting the pressure on Celtic’s transfer window coming up and Davie Provan saying the club could do a lot worse than sign Stevie Naismith…yes, you heard that right!

There was one positive to come out of today and that was the news Ryan Christie will make a quick recovery from Thursday night’s injury against Salzburg. It didn’t look good for the stand-out midfielder after he was stretchered off during Celtic’s Europa League tie but Brendan Rodgers has given good news on that front.
