Celtic are just about to go head to head with Hibs at Hampden Park as they look to defend their League Cup trophy for yet another year.

The Bhoys have been in fine scoring form over the past couple of weeks and Neil Lennon will be hoping his team can continue in the same vein today.

Speaking ahead of the first whistle in his pre-match interview Neil Lennon told BT Sports his team need to use their experience of the last three years of winning this competition.

On Ryan Christie sitting on the bench, the Celtic boss said he was tired and sore after the midweek game against St Mirren. The Celtic boss also said the midfielder’s knee was sore and it could be an ongoing problem.

Ryan did make the bench today so hopefully, it is not as serious as it sounds in terms of been ongoing issue. Lennon will also be hoping he does not need to bring Christie on at any point and he can get a proper rest ahead of a trip to Rome to face Lazio on Thursday.
