Long-term injured duo Christopher Jullien and Karamoko Dembele have been pictured back in training this afternoon.

Both players sustained severe injury issues, which kept them out of action for several months, missing the beginning of the Ange Postecoglou era as Celtic manager.

However, Postecoglou looks to have been handed a boost, with pictures released featuring both players in training this afternoon and they now finally look to be putting their injury nightmares behind them.

It has been a dreadful 12 months or so for Jullien, who picked up a knee injury in the final fixture of 2020 and has been missing ever since.

The French defender has also had to battle through several knockbacks in his recovery, but now finally looks set to be edging closer to being available for selection.

For Dembele, it will also have been a frustrating few months, having been on the end of a needless tackle in pre-season, that resulted in the young winger having surgery on his ankle.

Thankfully, as we gear up for the second half of the Scottish Premiership campaign, the two players look to be getting closer to adding to the options available for selection under Ange in the crucial run in for the title at the end of the season.

  1. Good to see. Hope Big Julie’s season ticket for the treatment table isn’t renewed! For me, he plays now or forget it! Dembele needs to be loaned out now in prep for next year.
