Christopher Jullien is fast becoming a fan favourite at the club with his attitude and infectious enthusiasm.

The French defender is growing into his role at Celtic with every passing game and he looks like a real team player.

During the Kilmarnock game at Celtic Park on Sunday the player had to come off in the second half with an injury. There were fears it could be serious but the defender has told supporters on social media this evening it was just a precaution.

Christopher seems like a guy who can become a real leader in the dressing room and had a top performance on Thursday against Rennes. He was caught out by Killie’s goal today but in general the player has looked assured.

It will be interesting to see who gets rested by Neil Lennon on Wednesday night against Partick Thistle. The Celtic boss could ring in the changes ahead of a big match against Hibs at Easter Road on Saturday.
