Christopher Jullien is starting for the young Celts today at the Rangers training academy.

The Frenchman is among the starters for today’s Glasgow Cup game and so is Mikey Johnston.

The Glasgow Cup rules are a bit more lax than the lowland league setup and it allows for some senior players to participate.

Chris Jullien is yet to start a game for Celtic and has only had a short run out against Raith Rovers in the Scottish cup earlier this season since returning from injury.

This will give Chris the chance to get some more minutes into his legs. Celtic have five games to go this season and unless the Hoops wrap up the title with games to spare, we might not see the big man in action for the first team.

Mikey Johnston has been riddled with injuries since joining the first team under Brendan Rodgers. There could be a parting of the ways this summer if Celtic bosses feel the winger isn’t cut out for the rigours of Ange Ball.

Todays derby kicks off at 2pm and it’s behind closed doors.
