CHRISTOPHER JULLIEN was named in Celtic B’s lineup as they faced The Rangers in the Glasgow Cup Semi-Final on Tuesday.

After fourteen months out, the defender played the entire match as he tried to regain his match sharpness – the bhoys losing out on penalties. The defender has had months back in training at this point, but the Frenchman has only played once.

Chris was brought from off the bench against Raith Rovers for a short run out. So why would Ange try to get more minutes into Jullien’s legs with the season drawing to a close?

On Sunday, many fans noticed that Cameron Carter-Vickers soldiered after visibly struggling with an injury that looked to be in his hamstring area.

So, could Ange Postecoglou believe that the American’s season is over and is taking steps to prepare his defence for the final five games?

Stephen Welsh and Nir Bitton are above Chris Jullien in the pecking order by the looks of things. But Postecoglou could be looking to add cover to the defence. After all, the boss recognises that Bitton isn’t a defender.

Hopefully, Carter-Vickers’ injury isn’t too bad. Fans are anxiously awaiting an update from the manager.
