Claudio Bravo has reacted to interest from several clubs including Celtic and claims he’s flattered by the speculation.
Bravo has been told by Manchester City he can move on and he’s been linked with Celtic, Arsenal and Galatasaray to name a few.
Speaking to SunSport, Bravo said: “There is nowhere in the world I would not consider playing.
“I’ve read the names of the clubs that have been linked with me and I regard that as an honour because they are very good clubs.
“I’m proud that I have attracted interest from the clubs mentioned.
“What I and my family are looking for is a club with stability and a comfortable environment to live.
“It depends on several factors, it depends on the club and the project that the club has.
“I will consider all my options and make a decision soon.”
At the age of 37, there’s not a chance Bravo is a cost effective solution if Craig Gordon doesn’t sign a new deal. The only way it could happen is if Gordon and Forster don’t re-sign at which point Celtic would need competition for Scott Bain.
The link has been tenuous to this point and in all likelihood Bravo’s next destination won’t be Celtic Park.
It’s a pressing issue for the club, they must wrap up who exactly is going to be the main man in goals for the ten in a row season.
There’s a scenario where we head into August with only Scott Bain as a senior keeper. Not the place you want to be when you’re chasing history.
Celtic have been spoiled with talented goalkeepers lately and we hope that continues going into next term. If you speak to most fans, they’d prefer big Fraser stay.
This guy is a circus act. We survived Dorus DeVries who was a Brendan Rodgers nightmare replacement for Craig Gordon. I wouldn’t take this guy if he came with money as well. Obviously the media distraction machine is revving up to prevent us making it ten. We need to have a decent keeper as backup. Bain isn’t up to the job after he cost us Champions League football and allowed a Tavernier free kick in at Ibrox without any effort to stop it.
