Andrew Gutman turned up at Lennoxtown training today to take part in preseason training with the bhoys. The move came out of the blue with the player turning out for Charlotte independence last week.
We were unclear whether the player had finished his loan move with Charlotte or he was over for a short period of time.
Celtic’s other American loan signing Manny Perez and his loan club have shed some light on Manny’s situation which may also explain Gutman’s current status.
North Carolina confirmed the player was heading to Scotland BUT he would be due back in July to rejoin his loan club.

There’s a certain mystery surrounding the loan signings with regards to how long they will stay out on-loan and if it’s for work permit reasons. When the club announced both signings and both loan deals they didn’t specify the length of the loan.
It is for work permit reasons.
They both were declined work permits.
Same as Shved with that being appealed now.
