If the reports are true Soro is on his way to Celtic, his current club could be risking the player and his transfer fee to get into the semi-final of a domestic cup competition.

Bnei Yehuda take on Hapoel Afula in the Israel State Cup later this afternoon and SunSport are reporting they will play Celtic bound Imaila Soro one last time before sending him on his way.

A fee of around £2m player is believed to be on the table from Celtic which will be due to Bnei Yehuda upon the competition of the deal.

If Soro was to get injured in today’s game it would ruin any reported deal that’s in place.

The Israeli side are desperate to get a win having had a bad run of results and will take the chance by playing the defensive midfielder.

The best case scenario is the player helps them to a victory and comes through the game unscathed but it’s a risk nonetheless.
