JOHN COLLINS has rhymed off his some of the names he think should be the next manager of Celtic.

The former Celtic player and assistant to Ronny Deila ran through a few candidates and their credentials to be the next hoops boss.

At the top of the pile was Roberto Martinez who JC thinks would be perfect for the role and would likely bring former Celtic academy graduate Shaun Maloney with him.

He then spoke about Eddie Howe how did a fantastic job at Bournemouth before talking about Jessie Marsch — an American coach who has ran the red bull circuit with New York, Leipzig (Assistant Manager) and Salzburg to this day.

Marsch is an interesting one but I don’t see Celtic going for an attached manager with a fee to bring them to the club.

Everyone is just wildly speculating because they simply don’t know what Dermot Desmond is thinking.

The sooner a target is identified and at least readied for the role, the better. The longer we leave it, the less chance any new man has the time to get this team sorted in time for Euro qualifiers.

  1. Steve Clarke with his own staff if no one is talking to him to sign him on a pre-contract then some one or all are in the wrong job…

Give Steve Clarke the deal BR had and let us begin to get back to the top again….
