Comedian and impersonator Darren Farley was at his Steven Gerrard impression again and giving football fans some light relief during the football shutdown.

Farley is known for his impressions and used to regularly impersonate Brendan Rodgers while he was at Celtic.

This skit centres around the Ibrox stance of a null and void league at this moment in time. With the authorities not knowing what to do, the club who capitulated after the January break want to see that stricken from the record and Celtic not to get what is rightfully theres.

It’s a lighthearted take by Farley with some nuggets of truth in there.

We will have to endure more of the debate surrounding the league in the coming days and weeks until something can be sorted. It’s very much a wait and see approach but deep down, the idea of football being back before the end of June looks like it holds no basis in reality.
