Celtic have been handed ANOTHER injury blow this week. After going off injured against Dundee Utd it has now been confirmed Juranovic is OUT for a few weeks.

In other injury news; Cal Mac and Kyogo are both in training but aren’t available for Thursday’s Europa League tie.

James McCarthy came off at half time on Sunday with a knock but has shaken it off and is available for the Leverkusen tie.

Celtic can’t shake off the current injury crisis with players dropping like flies on a weekly basis.

The club really have to look at what’s going on and how they can reduce the risk of injury playing Ange’s style of football.

It means Anthony Ralston goes back to being our only option at right back for the next two games. The lad has had to carry a weight on his shoulders this season.

Left back is open now for Adam Montgomery or Liam Scales. It’s not ideal at all for Ange as he looks to get two results in the final two games before the international break.

  1. I didn’t see the game last Sunday other than short highlights and those not shown by the BBC (Siegreist’s kick), so I can’t say 100% but I think the players did give a stuff about Europe and avoided going into tackles on Sunday(with no protection from Refs) and getting injured for Europe :-/
