CELTIC has completed the signing of Jota, making his loan permanent for a fee of £6.5 million. The tricky winger has signed a 5 year deal at paradise, seeing him tied down until the summer of 2027.
The Portuguese winger had a successful first year in Glasgow. He scored thirteen goals and assisted his teammates on fourteen occasions. His skilful play kept the fans on the edge of the seats as he danced down the wings.
It’s a great price of business for Celtic. The signing of the winger shows intent to continue success into next season.

Welcome home, Jota! 🇵🇹🍀

The only downside to the deal is that a 30% sell-on clause will be included in Jota’s contract, quite a large amount. But Celtic will be confident that when the time does come to sell the player, he’ll be worth a lot more than the sum they’ve splashed on him.
Celtic have already tied up Cameron Carter-Vickers, Benjamin Siegrist and Alexandro Bernabei this window – they’ve just kicked things up a notch by signing Jota. What a move!
Great to see Jota has signed as with all the signings so far we need two new faces in midfield a holding and a attacking midfielders , a CH but maybe we have already have one who was out on loan and now back in the fold and a CF
we are moving forward as we should be if we want to sit at the top table with the best teams season after season then you must spend the Cash and sign the players that can keep us there…
