OSAZE UROGHIDE has gone back out on loan to Oostende for a second season, it has been announced.

The defender had returned to Celtic following a short stint at the Belgian club between January and the end of last season.

Oostende were keen to keep Osaze but admitted they didn’t have the funds to secure his signature on a permanent basis. Oostende has now reached an agreement with Celtic where the player will head out on loan for the season with an option to buy.

Urhoghide came in last summer before Ange Postecgolou got his feet under the table. CeltsAreHere was told by a reliable source the player was so far off what the manager was looking for.

Osaze played some games in pre-season with both Ralston and Juranovic injured at one point but he was never going to be in the manager’s plans this season.

It’s better Celtic and the manager moves players on, if they’re not going to feature.
