Celtic have been drawn against Dundee United away from home in the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup.

The Hoops advanced to the next round of the cup with a comfortable 5th round victory over Scottish Championship side Raith Rovers on Sunday, which saw Liam Scales, Giorgos Giakoumakis, Daizen Maeda, and Nir Bitton get on the scoresheet.

Ange Postecoglou’s squad have now been tasked with a trip to Tannadice to face off against Tam Courts side, who also advanced past Championship opposition against Partick Thistle last weekend.

Celtic have enjoyed some mixed success against Dundee United this season, with the first meetup between the teams finishing in a 1-1 draw at Celtic Park.

The next two have been much more favourable for the Hoops, in an emphatic 3-0 win on our last visit to Tannadice. Whilst the most recent meeting was only a matter of weeks ago, with Liel Abada popping up with a late goal to secure the victory.

So, Postecoglou will be hoping for a similar performance from his side to what we saw on our last visit to the city of discovery, with the quarter-final ties set to take place on the weekend of the 12th of March.
