KERR MCINROY has joined Kilmarnock on a two-year deal after he was released from Celtic when his contract expired a few weeks ago.

Killie has snapped up the player on a free, who was impressive on his loan spells last season.

Kerr failed to make it at Celtic, despite looking promising when he was given a brief chance. Moving away from Celtic is the best thing for his career, and joining newly-promoted Kilmarnock is an excellent move for the player.

It doesn’t come as a significant loss for Celtic; he wasn’t part of the manager’s plans and was subsequently sent out on loan twice this season.

He’ll be great to watch in Scotland’s top flight this season. The versatile player will be eager to impress at a reasonable level after playing in the lower divisions over the last couple of years.

He’s a talented player, but hopefully, he doesn’t show that against Celtic next season!
