CELTIC have recalled Ewan Henderson from his Ross County loan after the midfielder only made 9 league appearances, totally 488 minutes of football.

The hope was Ewan would go up to County and become a first team regular but iot hasn’t been the case. With the window still open, the club had the choice to recall the midfielder but we’re unsure of the clubs next move.

Ewan could slot right back into developmental and be on the fringes of the first team again or the club have identified a new loan opportunity for him that he might be able to pursue before the window closes.

The funny thing is, he would be eligible to play for Celtic this weekend against Ross County if Lennon wanted to play him.

Henderson played a few games for Celtic last season but this year his time on the field was going to be limited so Neil Lennon took the decision to send the player on loan.

Hopefully, Ewan can keep developing wherever he lands in the next week. He is a very talented player.
