CELTIC take on Aberdeen in the early kick-off knowing only a win and a convincing win is likely to keep them top of the SPFL. The bhoys are at the top of the table because their goals for is better even though the Ibrox club have the same goal difference.

With Steven Gerrard’s men kicking off slightly later it gives Celtic the opportunity to put some more pressure on.

Neil Lennon would’ve thought long and hard about the team over the past few days. The team’s win against Lazio a real shot in the arm but some of the players will have been mentally and emotionally exhausted with so little turnover time.

The Irishman was fighting with how many changes he should make for the visit to Pittodrie – Ryan Christie the only enforced absentee from the game as he sees out the second game of his two-match ban.

Here is what the Celtic manager has come up with. He’s made a big call with Jeremie Frimpong in from the start, putting faith in the young player for such a tough fixture.
