Celtic will look to go five points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership, with Aberdeen in action tomorrow against Hearts at Tynecastle.

The Dons are far from guaranteed three points at a tough venue, while the Hoops are hopeful of a win this afternoon against Ross County at Celtic Park.

Midweek against Club Brugge in the Champions League at Celtic Park, was simply a tale of two halves, with an underwhelming first half that saw the Bhoys trail 1-0 at halftime.

However, Brendan Rodgers’ shrewd double substitution in the 59th minute changed the momentum of the game.

The two substitutes who came on and made a real impact were Alex Valle and Paulo Bernardo, with Valle even providing the assist for Daizen Maeda’s terrific equaliser just a minute after the Spaniard entered the pitch.

Both will be hopeful of being rewarded with a start against Don Cowie’s side, but they won’t be the only Hoops players eager to make an impact.

Adam Idah and Luke McCowan have also impressed at times this season, with Idah’s brace against Hearts last weekend, and McCowan’s consistent impact off the bench highlighting their contributions to an impressive Celtic squad.

Kasper Schmeichel starts in goal, with Alistair Johnston and Cameron Carter-Vickers continuing on the right-hand side of the defence.

Liam Scales and Alex Valle come into the starting 11.

Callum McGregor continues in holding midfield, with Paulo Bernardo and Luke McCowan both given starts after being on the bench midweek.

James Forrest replaces Nicolas Kuhn, with Daizen Maeda on the left after scoring against Club Brugge.

Adam Idah is also given a start, with Kyogo Furuhashi on the bench.

Kickoff for today’s game is 3pm, with Calum Scott set to referee the match.
