Celtic continue their pre-season work this evening as they take on St. Gallen. Neil Lennon will field one of his strongest teams so far as he prepares for forthcoming European qualifiers.

A select Celtic side already played a closed-door bounce game earlier against the Gallen under 21s. The Celtic team ran out 9-1 winners. Lennon will be looking for a repeat performance as he looks for players to build their sharpness and confidence.

The game was organised hastily at last minute with Neil Lennon keen to give Celtic players more minutes.

This pre-season has allowed Celtic fans to get a glimpse of some new and some up and coming talent. Tonight’s team looks much more like last seasons treble treble champions but there is still plenty of fringe and youth players going to be on show.

With the likes of Gutman, Morrison, Oko-Flex and Dembele on the bench fans will get a glimpse of the future. Celtic are only one week away from their first competitive game, with so many first team stars in tonight’s team Lennon will be hoping they come off the field without any knocks.
