The Bhoys have made the lengthy trip to Perth, and the team is out.

To the lineup from last weekend’s 5-2 win over Falkirk in the league cup, Rodgers has made seven changes.

In goal, there are no surprises as Kasper Schmeichel keeps his place.

Alistair Johnston returns to the team at right-back, while Liam Scales comes back in at the heart of the defence. In Cameron Carter-Vickers’ absence, Auston Trusty partners Scales, with Greg Taylor starting at left-back.

Callum McGregor captains the team in midfield. He starts alongside Paulo Bernardo and Arne Engels. Tonight is the first time this specific trio has started in the engine room together this campaign.

Up top, although Adam Idah scored twice in quick succession versus the Bairns last Sunday, Kyogo Furuhashi comes back into the team tonight. The 29-year-old starts up front, with Daizen Maeda and Nicolas Kuhn beginning on either side of him.

On the bench, there are places for the likes of Viljami Sinisalo, Anthony Ralston, Alex Valle, Luke McCowan, Reo Hatate, Idah, James Forrest, Yang Hyun-jun, and Maik Nawrocki.

Kick-off tonight is at the rather unusual time of 5:45pm. The match is live on Premier Sports.
