Celtic get the defence of their Scottish Premiership crown underway today against a new-look Aberdeen at Parkhead.

A very disrupted and dishevelled Celtic squad managed a domestic double last season against all the odds. Ange Postecoglou was supposed to be sacked by Christmas. Instead, he united the whole Celtic family and brought silverware, he also has his Celtic team playing the Champions League proper this season.

There is a lot to look forward to for Hoops fans this season, there is an air of excitement and expectation given that Celtic have had a proper pre-season and brought in players like Aaron Mooy, Moritz Jenz, Alexandro Bernabei and Benjamin Siegrist.

On top of the new signings, the Champions have also secured long-term contracts for last season’s loan Bhoys Jota and Carter-Vickers.
These days Celtic teams are close to picking themselves when everyone is fit, the immediate positions to take a look at are the striker and centre-mid positions.
The Australian manager is blessed with the headache of choosing between Giakamakis or Kyogo up front.
With both teams just announced this is how the Champions will line up today:

We can’t really say there are any surprises in this line-up. The Celtic bench looks super strong too if needed.
