Christmas football is usually a time for massive clashes across all leagues. The SPFL will be serving up the champions against the second and third place teams all within 3 days of each other.

It’s a massive chance for the Bhoys to put a wedge in the league table and dismiss the notion of other teams getting closer to them. Brendan Rodgers has already bagged the first trophy available to him.

Aberdeen has improved hugely over the past few weeks and the Celtic team will need to put in a top-drawer performance to take 3 points away from their nearest challengers over the past few seasons. The stats all way heavily in Celtic’s favor but Hibs just proved Celtic are beatable when they don’t have their focus.

We mentioned earlier today that Kieran Tierney was a good bet to score at Pittodrie, the left-back has scored in his last two visits. Unfortunately, Tierney is still out of the squad. Gordon, Boyata, and Lustig have all returned to the side.

Ryan Christie will play as the lone striker today with Edouard starting on the bench. Tom Rogic makes the side before he jets off to play for Australia and miss out on the Glasgow derby.
